These lists are not complete, but they’re good guidelines to start with

Jason

  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Beans
  • Peas
  • Peanuts
  • Dark meat chicken
  • Most “exotic” fruits
  • Bananas – can be in the house
  • Most seeds – including sesame seeds, excluding sunflower
  • Pine nuts
  • Hardy kiwi
  • Shellfish

Alice

  • Nuts
  • Peanuts
  • Fennel
  • Licorice
  • Anise
  • Coconut, Coconut Milk (Coconut oil okay)
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Apricot – can be in the house

Non-allergy food restrictions we often accommodate at dinners are below. The simplest idea for accommodating all of these at once is to cook a chicken breast or two (in the same manner) if you don’t choose chicken as the entree in the first place. Also, to make veggies that are appealing to as many people as possible, if you’re mixing veggies together you might look at picking one not on the lists below and doing it separately, or separating it out at the end.

Person 4

Fatal

  • Peanuts

Oral allergy (scary, but likely non-fatal):

  • Shellfish (Mollusca and Crustacea)
  • Tree nuts
  • Tropical fruit
  • Cilantro

Really uncomfortable

  • Milk/cream
  • Too much booze (Except mead!)

Sensitive but able to handle some of

  • Salmon
  • Cheese
  • Yogurt
  • Egg whites

Safe

Odd items that are safe, but it might not be clear from the other lists

  • Vanilla
  • Carob
  • Dates
  • Salmon
  • Tuna
  • Halibut
  • Strawberries – but the seeds have to be cut off and Jason can only have a couple a day.
